Rain Conference Concept Stage
For those companies who are not yet ready for a “Launch Stage” investment, a “Concept Stage” grant is available. The information is posted below.

All information regarding the Concept Stage application is DUE: Tuesday, October 25, 2016.
If you have a concept or are thinking about the possibilities of starting a business, below are a few questions that you might consider. If your answer is YES to these questions, you might consider our 2016 “Concept Stage” competition:
- Is your business plan “in your head” or not yet complete?
- Are are facing logistical and technological obstacles?
- Are you still designing your beta test or first roll-out?
- Do you need funding to develop a prototype or proof of concept?
- Are you pre-revenue?
- Are you looking for mentorship and guidance in the process?
2015 RAIN CONFERENCE “CONCEPT STAGE” WINNER
The winner by popular vote at the December 9, 2015 RAIN Conference was Inspiration Mixes. Inspiration Mixes received the following prizes totaling $8,000. $5,000 cash with additional in-kind services offered by businesses throughout the community.
An additional cash award was given to ME-2 Strapless Backpack of $2,000.
